WRVS collects the following information regarding visitors to our website at www.wrvs.org.uk and any of our microsites such as www.wrvs.org.uk/stars or www.wrvsteaparty.org.uk

Information regarding what pages are accessed and when; information volunteered by you, such as surveys; your preferred means of communication and personal information offered by you when you contact us such as address, phone number etc. We may have received information about you from third parties, such as your contact details when a friend has sent an e-card. You do not have to provide personal information to browse our website.

WRVS uses the information we collect about you to help us understand more about our website and is used to inform future improvements. It is also used to help us communicate with you about subjects that may be of interest to you, either electronically or otherwise.

WRVS is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We may use other organisations to help WRVS carry out its day-to-day activities, for example, mailing houses to send out direct mail. We ask these organisations to respect the confidentiality of the personal information

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc) may be transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100 per cent secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, WRVS cannot warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we use our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.
