WRVS makes a huge difference in older people's lives every day. We support older people to live independently at home and stay active in the community. And we support people in hospital and emergencies, many of them older people.

WRVS has always been good at adapting to changes and supporting our communities with whatever challenges face them. Our new strategy for the future will provide a clear plan on how we'll continue to provide the support older people want and make an even bigger impact in future.

New national and regional managers to spearhead transformation of WRVS

Older people’s charity WRVS has appointed 11 new national and regional managers that will spearhead its plans to join up its services more effectively and be a better partner to local authorities, the NHS and other organisations.

We want to ensure every older person has the choice and opportunity to get more out of life.

We're proud of the impact we have - in a recent independent survey 90 per cent of the older people we support said our help made life easier.
